VP Change Manager, Business Transformation

Recognised as one of the world’s leading Banking group, our client offers a full range of banking and other financial products and services to its clients. To further expand the core businesses in Asia, the change management function is seeking high-calibre Change Management professionals to join the regional team based in Hong Kong.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Define, deliver and implement large and complex cross-business change programs within Asia, with key focuses on Retail Banking, Bancassurance, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Transaction Banking and / or Trade Finance.
  • Support global, regional and local business project sponsors in driving their change initiatives, translating strategies into impactful solutions.
  • Work with the business to define change requirements, design solutions and processes to enable delivery and implementation of the changes to be carried out in the right way.
  • Ensure change initiatives are successfully implemented and embedded into the business.
  • Analyse, manage and communicate the change impacts and benefits whilst focusing on the business outcomes.
  • Provide necessary training to the business and teams involved in relations to changes being implemented.
  • Act as a project lead and / or coordinator between the business, project teams and support functions.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified and ideally with change / project management certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.).
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in business transformation, group transformation, change management and / or management consulting gained from Banking and / or Management Consulting firms.
  • Experience in managing change impact, communications and training.
  • Financial Services experience is a must, ideally with exposure to Insurance or Digital Transformation.
  • Other exposure to Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Transaction Banking and Corporate Banking would also be highly relevant.
  • Effective ability working independently as well as in cross-location team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking and change management mind-set.
  • Solid skills in PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
