Our client is a leading regional banking group with established Retail and Commercial Banking businesses in Asia. As part of continuous growth, an excellent opportunity for a Asset & Liability Management Finance or Risk professional to join their Balance Sheet Management function, based in Hong Kong.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Reporting to the Head of Balance Sheet Management, you will support the team on balance sheet analysis, financial resources allocation optimisation, capital and liquidity management, asset and liability management.
  • Prepare reports on balance sheet analysis, NII and NIM, monitor the bank’s loans and deposits positions.
  • Coordinate monthly FTP process with head office, develop and maintain policy and procedures for FTP and CFP.
  • Be the liaison in organising ALCO meetings, preparation work and put together financial packs for ALCO.
  • Take part in developing data analytics usage and tools in the department.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • A university degree in relevant disciplines, ideally with FRM, CFA and / or CPA.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Finance, Balance Sheet Management, Asset & Liability Management and / or Treasury Risk gained from Banking.
  • Familiarity to HKMA regulatory requirement.
  • Sound technical skills in Excel, database management and / or data analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
