Our client is a well-established Conglomerate Group with diversify businesses largely focusing on the Retail Consumer Segment. As part of strategic growth and transformation, an exciting leadership role has arisen for an experienced Strategy & Change Professional to lead a team focusing on Strategic Change Development and Implementation projects.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business Projects, you will manage a small expanding team focusing on Strategy Change Initiatives, looking at Strategy Development, Change Management, Implementation and PMO.
  • The team will be involved in a diverse range of initiatives including hospitality, customer loyalty, marketing, branding, customer services, systems and organisational changes.
  • Drive and facilitate strategies and change initiatives by developing framework, models and methodologies.
  • Define strategies that align with business units’ directions, perform market research and benchmarking to support the development of the strategies and initiatives.
  • Design target operating models, define strategic roadmap, perform gap analysis, come up with implementation approach and set priorities.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for change and improvement across organisational and business processes as well as people development.
  • Develop and implement the change communication plans.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the operating models, business architecture and business solutions.
  • Lead the project management cycle from planning, roadmap, governance, implementation approach, risk management, project progress monitoring and tracking.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology and business development, recommend new technological tools to the business and management for improvement.
  • As a team leader, provide coaching and take lead in people development.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified ideally with relevant professional qualifications in project management.
  • Minimum 12-15 years experience in Management Consulting or Corporates related to Change Management, Strategy, Business Transformation, Business Process Re-engineering, Operational Efficiency, Customer Experience / Services Improvement and Project Management.
  • Management Consulting experience is highly preferred.
  • Industry experience from Consumer / Retail segment, Mass-market, Customer-Service oriented environment. Such as: Telecom, Retail Banking, Insurance, Consumer, Hotels, FMCG, Recreation / Entertainment, Retail etc.
  • Exposure to a diverse range of strategic change initiatives, NOT subject matter expert / specialist in IT or Digital only.
  • Strong change-mindset, ability to keep abreast of consumer market trends and new technology development.
  • Proven people management / leadership skills gained from a sizeable organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English AND Cantonese or Mandarin.
