Manager / Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy

Our client is an international Insurance Group offering a diverse range of services across Life Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management and Asset Management. With increasing business activities and a solid growth strategy in place, the Group is now seeking a high-calibre Strategy professional to join the team in Hong Kong.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Develop corporate strategies and development plans at country and business unit level, specifically Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
  • Support strategic projects planning and execution related to growth strategies, new markets entry, new and existing products development and entries.
  • Conduct research on market trends, industry insights and competitive landscape, analyzing the impact on the business.
  • Perform financial and data analysis, project data gathering.
  • Draft communications contents and materials for CEO and management related to strategy, markets and intelligence updates.
  • Develop presentations for CEO and management, support in strategic planning deliverables and timelines for Management Committees and the Board.
  • Support strategic initiatives and articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans.
  • Work with business and support functions on operational efficiency and organizational change initiatives.
  • Provide support on the implementation of projects and initiatives identified by the management team and business leaders.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • An university degree.
  • Minimum 6+ years of Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, Strategic Consulting experience gained from Insurance, Wealth Management, Management Consultancies and / or Big 4 focusing on Insurance sector.
  • Experience in drafting, writing, editing communications contents and materials for internal and external use.
  • Exposure to Insurance or Wealth Management experience is a MUST.
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other presentation tools.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Mandarin.
