Our client is a leading Global Banking Group with an established presence in Asia Pacific, renowned for good internal mobility and career development opportunities. As part of continuous staff development, the bank is now seeking an experienced Credit Risk professional to join the team based in Sydney.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Proactively manage exposures on a portfolio of institutional and corporate clients.
  • Prepare forward looking credit memoranda, along with necessary financial modelling to provide risk assessment view on both new transactions and for existing clients in their industries.
  • Track market and industry developments and their impacts on clients.
  • Recommend and monitor internal credit ratings.
  • Support senior team members with completing due diligence, structuring and documentation on new transactions.
  • Prepare and monitor various credit and regulatory reporting requirements.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified with experience gained in credit risk within institutional, investment banking or corporate banking.
  • Strong credit risk analysis skills covering both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Good understanding of products across Australian debt markets and derivatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people across regions and business units.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
