Our client is a global financial institution with a strong history across Asia. Working with a wide range of clients, they offer a diverse selection of products and services across commercial banking, investment banking and investment management. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Compliance professional to join this dynamic firm on a contract for 5 months.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Perform risk assessments on new and existing out sourcing agreements.
  • Ensure outsourcing agreements are in line with local, regional and global regulatory requirements.
  • Co-ordinate with the business units to respond to various inquiries, surveys and self-assessments relating to outsourcing.
  • Update compliance policies and procedures relating to outsourcing to ensure they are in line with Group policies and procedures.
  • Provide support on licensing and registration matters and PAD.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified with at least 4 years of compliance experience gained in a leading financial institution or regulator.
  • Prior experience in Core/Central Compliance is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability of been able to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in Chinese will be an advantage.
