Our client is an international Insurance Group offering a diverse range of services across Life Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management and Asset Management. With increasing business activities and a solid growth strategy in place, the company is seeking a Strategy Professional to Lead a team for the Hong Kong businesses.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Lead a team in driving and delivering business strategies and development plans at country and business unit level, specifically Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
  • Develop business level strategic planning and execution related to growth strategies, customer strategies, distribution, digital, new and existing products development and entries.
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends, industry insights and competitive landscape, analyzing the impact on the business.
  • Perform financial and data analysis, project data gathering.
  • Draft communications contents and materials related to strategy, markets and intelligence updates.
  • Develop presentations, support in strategic planning deliverables and timelines for business and management meetings.
  • Identify strategic initiatives and articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the businesses in Hong Kong and work tog3ther with them on ideas and solutions.
  • Provide support on the implementation of projects and initiatives identified by the management team and business leaders.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • A university degree.
  • Minimum 8+ years of Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, Distribution Strategy, Strategic Consulting experience gained from Insurance, Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Management Consultancies and / or Big 4 focusing on Insurance sector.
  • Exposure to Financial Services is a MUST.
  • Strong financial / data analysis and research skills.
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in leading project teams would be advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
