Senior Manager, Conduct Risk

Our client is a global financial services group offering a diverse range of services to its clients. Committed to Asia, with increasing business activities and a solid growth strategy in place, the Group is now seeking a high-calibre compliance professional. Based in Hong Kong, this is an excellent opportunity offering wide exposure across the business.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Develop and maintain the conduct risk framework for the Group.
• Collect, analyse and report on the conduct risk data provided by the business units.
• Apply data analytics tools and techniques for detailed analysis, to determine cause and effect from conduct metric data.
• Engage with Group Compliance and the business unit stakeholders to determine root causes and supervise the development and implementation of remedial action plans.
• Report on insights, analysis outcomes and actions to stakeholders.
• Undertake deep dive reviews and monitoring work to assess the design and operating effectiveness of the conduct risk for the business.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory trends related to conduct risk.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• Degree qualified with at least 6 years of compliance experience gained in a leading insurance group.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and the Asia region are essential.
• Detailed knowledge of conduct risk is required for this position.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
