Our client is an international Insurance Group offering a diverse range of products and services across Life Insurance, Pension, Healthcare, Wealth Management and Asset Management. With increasing business activities and a solid growth strategy in place, the Group is now seeking a couple of high-calibre Strategy & Transactions professionals to join the team in Hong Kong, covering the Asia region on Corporate Growth Strategy & Transactions.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Develop corporate strategies and development plans (organic and inorganic) at regional, country and business level across Wealth Management and Asset Management business lines.
- Develop and formulate organic growth strategies, new markets entry, new and existing products development and entries, new customer segment development, distribution models and strategies.
- Lead or support the group on strategic development plans on assessing and executing corporate transactions including M&A, strategic investments, partnerships, JV.
- Take a proactive role in identifying and sourcing potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities that align with the group’s strategic goals in the various markets.
- Conduct research on market trends, industry insights and competitive landscape, analyzing the impact on the business.
- Recommend strategic initiatives and articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans.
- Provide support on the implementation of projects and initiatives identified by the management team and business leaders.
- Perform analysis, financial modelling, valuations, project data gathering.
- Develop presentations for management, support on strategic planning deliverables and timelines for Management Committees and the Board at Group level.
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- A university degree preferably with an MBA degree.
- Around 10-12 years of working experience.
- Relevant experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, M&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Consulting focusing on Wealth Management and Asset Management sectors.
- Strategy / Management Consulting experience focusing on FIG or Investment Banking / M&A experience covering FIG.
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other presentation tools.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
