Our client is a well-established reputable Conglomerate with a strong history in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion and internal growth, the group is seeking experienced Internal Audit professionals to join the Group Audit function in various new openings, based in Hong Kong. The Group Audit function is a highly-regarded unit within the organization upholding world-class best-practices and standards in place.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Report to and support the Functional Leaders in Internal Audit on audit engagements.
  • Lead and conduct end-to-end audit engagements across the business, operations and projects, be responsible for your designated business areas / functions.
  • Take charge or assist in annual audit planning processes.
  • Lead or execute operations audit and perform real-time project audits.
  • Serve as an advisor and business partner by maintaining strong relationships with the business / functions, identify risk and control issues and recommend improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive statements of potential deficiencies to internal control system and compliance with corporate rules within the audit reports.
  • Contribute ideas to further develop the audit framework, methods and procedures.
  • Identifies and highlights risk areas for management attention and ensures comprehensiveness of the Internal Audit’s risk assessment.
  • Coach and develop skillsets of audit team members, continuously upskill overall team performance and competencies.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • CA/CPA qualified with minimum 10-12 years of audit experience with Big 4 AND commercial internal audit experience from MNCs, listed companies, financial services, conglomerates, utilities, telecom, property developers, technology, or hospitality sectors.
  • Diverse audit experience across financial, operational, IT and / or projects audit gained from complex organisations.
  • Experience in China audits would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong intellectual, analytical and project management skills.
  • Leadership skills, strong team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills in Cantonese or Mandarin would be highly preferred.
