Recognised as one of the leading and well-established financial services groups in Asia, our client offers a full range of retail banking, insurance, wealth management products and services to its retail clients. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Investor Relations professional to join the Group, the position can be based in Hong Kong or Beijing.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, assist in developing the investor relations strategies for the group.
- Facilitate and represent the company in investor meetings, conferences and forums.
- Act as the liaison with investors and relevant external parties, addressing queries and conveys financial performance strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with Asia and China onshore institutional investors focusing on Equities.
- Prepare financial materials, investor summaries, periodic and annual reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors.
- Assist the CFO on capital matters, related budgeting and forecasting for dividend and capital issuance.
- Liaise with management team on investor relations and capital raising related matters to support the bank’s growth and strategic initiatives.
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- Degreed qualified with 8+ relevant years in Investor Relations, Capital Raising, Equities Sales and / or Equity Research experience.
- Less experience profiles will be considered at Senior Manager level.
- In-house industry experience in Banks, Insurance, Financial Services, covering Banks / FIG sector or large HK-listed companies / HK conglomerates.
- Strong network and access to a diverse range of Asia and China onshore Equities institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of the equities stock market and stock sensitives.
- Good financial analysis skills.
- Ability in investors relationships building and management.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
