Our Client is a Conglomerate Group with diversified businesses across the Asia region. With a solid expansion in place and targeting a potential IPO, the Group is seeking a high-calibre Corporate Finance professional to join the team, based in Hong Kong.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Reporting to the functional head, assisting in corporate development plans, looking at inorganic initiatives and financing needs at country, regional and business level across various business lines and development areas.
• Involve in corporate financing activities, fund-raising investor relations and bank relations activities.
• Support the group on strategic development plans on assessing and executing corporate transactions including M&A, IPO, strategic investments, partnerships, JV.
• Take a proactive role in identifying and sourcing potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities that align with the group's strategic goals in the various markets.
• Conduct financial modelling, valuations and commercial due diligence on potential targets, research on market trends, industry insights and competitive landscape, analyzing the impact on the business.
• Recommend strategic initiatives and articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans.
• Provide support on the implementation of projects and initiatives identified by the management team and business leader.
• Develop presentations for management, support in strategic initiatives deliverables and timelines for Management Committees and the Board at Group level.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• A university degree with accounting or legal qualifications would be advantageous.
• Minimum 7 - 12 years relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, IPO, M&A, Capital Markets.
• Experience from Big 4 or Law firms with exposure to IPO, Corporate Finance Advisory, M&A, Deals Advisory or Due Diligence is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of listing rules, regulations and accounting practices.
• Good analytic skills in financial modelling, valuation, financial analysis.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English Cantonese and or Mandarin
