Our client is a reputable international financial institution offering a diverse range of services across Life Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management and Asset Management. With increasing business activities and a solid growth strategy in place, the Group is now seeking a high-calibre Anti-Bribery Corruption (ABC) Program Lead to join the Group Compliance & Risk function in a 1-year contract role, based in Hong Kong.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Reporting to the Group Functional Leader, you will be part of the Group Compliance & Risk Advisory function focusing on second line of defence monitoring, reviews and risk assessment.
- You will focus on the design, implementation and management of an enhanced Anti-Bribery Corruption (ABC) program across the group.
- Provide support to the Group and Country teams in the delivery of the ABC program, the enhancement of compliance and risk framework, system and infrastructure across Asia.
- Assess and refresh controls adequacy, build and enhance monitoring process and capability.
- End-to-end program management including progress tracking and reporting, identifying issues and resolving them, project status updates, planning and analysis.
- Ensure project is on track, requirements are clear whilst addressing process and resource efficiencies issues and come up with strategic solutions.
- Work closely with all the Risk and Compliance teams to ensure proper management of workstreams.
- Provide consultative advice and impact evaluations to the Businesses, Support Functions, Risk and Compliance and meeting the program standards while identify opportunities to influence best practices.
- Coordinate effectively with the wider group Risk and Compliance teams on projects and initiatives.
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in Financial Crime Compliance, Anti-Bribery Corruption Compliance / Risk Advisory, Risk Management, Program Management.
- Regional exposure from Financial Services, regulated industries, large MNCs, Risk / Compliance Practices within Big 4 and / or Specialist Consulting Firms.
- Understanding of the laws and regulatory requirements and frameworks applicable such as FCPA, UKBA.
- Experience in building / designing, overseeing and managing Risk / Compliance / Monitoring programs.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Excellent spoken and writing skills in English.
